The Successful Applicant
Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience at the GS11 level or equivalent which is in or related to the work of the position to be filled and has equipped applicant with the particular knowledge skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. FO: Your SSA45 must show at least one year of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to the GS11 grade level in the Field Office (FO)/ Workload Support Unit (WSU) and (1) adjudicating authorizing investigating or reconsidering claims through facetoface telephone or VSD interviews (2) functioning as a lead worker or performing quality control functions in reviewing caseloads (e.g. income maintenance benefits pension plans health insurance etc.) (3) adjudicating postentitlement actions including Continuing Disability and Entitlement Reviews and using software and systems such as Workload Action Center (WAC) SSTNG and eWork (4) mentoring reviewing or providing formal/informal training to FO Claims Specialists (CS) on Social Security laws regulations policies and procedures. Experience in Title II and/or Title XVI is required. Candidates must describe their Title II and/or Title XVI experience. Qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement. Applicants for promotion must have 52 weeks at GS11.
