Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g. Peace Corps AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g. professional philanthropic religious spiritual community student social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience if qualifying based on education your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Minimum education requirement: Masters degree (or higher degree) in social work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.) Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS11 grade level in the Federal service which includes: Experience in social case work for the purpose of helping individuals and families of the Family Advocacy Program and those referred by Behavioral Health Services through professional counseling human behavior techniques and dynamic interaction to conduct comprehensive individual case work interviews Analyzing data and a variety of available records support services resources etc. Providing indepth psychosocial assessments of patients family members and identification of collateral resources in order to determine/isolate the emotional social environmental educational vocational and related factors of the case. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Compliance Decision Making Oral Communication Planning and Evaluating Teaches Others Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS11).
