The Successful Applicant

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing a full range of clinical treatment services to patients from birth to twenty one (e.g. psychosocial assessments classroom support services and case management) AND providing consultation to other medical and clinical professionals within your area of expertise OR Have 3 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. degree or Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree. COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: A combination of experience and education may be combined to meet the total qualification requirements. SELECTIVE PLACEMENT FACTORS: This position has selective placement factors that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates. Failure to document the factors in your resume or application documents will result in an ineligible rating. The selective placement factors are: Completion of two years of full time post graduate experience in the field of child and adolescent clinical social work. Possession of a permanent full and unrestricted license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker issued by a state district or a territory of the United States. Possession of Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers Certification.
