The Successful Applicant
Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience at the GS12 level or equivalent which is in or related to the work of the position to be filled and has equipped applicant with the particular knowledge skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience includes baseline understanding of the initial claims taking process knowledge of the laws regulations objectives policies procedures and processes governing the application and administration of SSAs programs perform workflow analysis identify processing problems/trends and make recommendations for corrective actions ability to direct manage and lead a subordinate staff communicate verbally to obtain clarify and provide technical information organize and convey technical information in writing. Qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement. Applicants for promotion must have 52 weeks at GS12. Time in grade requirement must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
