The Successful Applicant
BASIC REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must meet the requirements described in paragraphs A B or C below: A. have a bachelors or graduate/higher level degree in the behavioral or social sciences or related disciplines appropriate to this position. OR B. have a combination of education and experience that provided you with the knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. OR C. have four years of appropriate experience demonstrating that you have acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. AND ADDITIONAL POSITION REQUIREMENT: Applicants must meet the following requirement: GS15: In addition to the education requirements to qualify at the GS15 level you must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS14 as described below. (1) Served as a primary or corresponding author of peerreviewed journal articles book chapters scientific reports summarizing analyses and findings or lead inventor on patents that influenced strategic priorities policies or research direction. (2) Served as a lead presenter at major scientific events (e.g. international conferences annual conventions) or communicated scientific evaluation findings that influenced strategic priorities policies or research direction. (3) Managed a research or scientific evaluation program/portfolio overseeing personnel policy compliance and alignment with scientific priorities. (4) Led scientific initiatives or evaluation strategies by guiding others to achieve research goals. (5) Evaluated emerging scientific fields trends and research quality to identify deficiencies opportunities or future research priorities. You will receive credit for all experience material to the position including experience gained in religious civic welfare service and organizational activities regardless of whether you received pay.
