The Successful Applicant

Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience at the GS14 level or equivalent which is in or related to the work of the position to be filled and has equipped applicant with the particular knowledge skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience is experience directly related to the position to be filled which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge skills and abilities needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Examples of specialized experience include developing examining investigating adjudicating or authorizing claims for retirement survivors insurance disability insurance pension claims or other related programmatic or managerial experience developing and/or overseeing the development of written instructions or policies pertaining to SSA PSC or field program issues supervising or leading SSA nonsupervisory professional staff planning organizing and monitoring a workload or project making oral presentations to a variety of groups and individuals. Qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement. Applicants for promotion must have 52 weeks at GS14..
