The Successful Applicant

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience providing thorough assessment counseling and consultation services to clients who present for care with substance use risk factors and/or disorders Experience independently devising workable treatment plans (e.g. individual counseling family counseling referral for in client treatment etc.) AND Experience providing direct treatment using a wide variety of techniques for the resolution of personal social or environmental difficulties related to substance use disorders.
