The Successful Applicant
Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience at the GS14 level or equivalent which is in or related to the work of the position to be filled and has equipped applicant with the particular knowledge skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience must include: Comprehensive knowledge of the development examination investigation adjudication or authorization of claims for retirement or survivors insurance disability insurance pension programs health insurance income maintenance or related programs AND Experience performing supervising or managing work concerned with these programs and their delivery to the public. Such experience may include (1) studying operations case processing systems operations methods and procedures to improve the operation and delivery of programs (2) interpreting program requirements and formulating policies procedures methods work aids technical guides and other reference material for program operations. Qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement. Applicants applying for promotion must have 52 weeks at GS14.
